We are committed to working as closely as possible to other practitioners to help to support each child throughout their time at Little Explorers. We have links with the local community so that we can signpost children and their families to further help if needed. We understand that early intervention can benefit children.

Jo

My name is Jo. I am happily married, I have two Daughters and four Grandchildren. I work alongside Kerry. I began by working as a Childminder Assistant in 2015 then in June 2017 I also registered as a Childminder. We work as a pair, we work well in partnership with each other. We are constantly supporting each other by reflecting on our work and coming up with new ideas! I am also constantly updating my training and knowledge; completing courses and webinars and keeping up to date with current research and documents. Like Kerry, I also ensure to update both my Safeguarding training and Paediatric Training every three years. I have spent many years working within Early years settings and primary schools, I have a lot of experience in catering and providing children within nurseries with healthy balanced meals. Little Explorers is based within my home environment, I love waking up everyday to do a job that I love!
