Our Approach

Support for Children with SEND

• Assessment and Planning: We will work with families and other professionals to identify and assess children's needs, and develop a plan to support their development.
• Individual Support Plans: We will create Individual Support Plans (ISPs) with families and other professionals to outline the support and strategies needed to meet the child's needs.
• Inclusive Activities: We will provide inclusive activities and experiences that enable children with SEND to participate fully in our setting.
• Specialist Resources and Equipment: We will access specialist resources and equipment, as needed, to support children's development and inclusion.

How We Will Support You

• Regular Communication: We will maintain regular communication with families to share information about their child's progress and involve them in decision-making.
• Support and Guidance: We will provide support and guidance to families on how to access additional services and resources.
• Training and Development: We will access training and development opportunities to ensure our staff have the skills and knowledge to support children with SEND.
